Director - Writer - Producer

Tierra Frost is a Writer - Director hailing from the rainy city of Seattle, Washington. With a unique perspective as a Black queer female artist, she brings a fresh and dynamic voice to her craft. Her intersecting and varying identities allow her to explore the complexities of the human condition fortifying her goal to enlighten, transform and bring together all audiences through the art of storytelling. 


Tierra's journey in the world of filmmaking began in 2019 when she was accepted into a weekend intensive boot camp for women of color in San Francisco, CA. Over the following years, Tierra has honed her skills and expertise in various capacities, starting from her beginnings as a Production Assistant on multiple big budget productions (Matrix 4, Netflix’s They Cloned Tyrone). These foundational educational experiences quickly led to writing and directing her own creative works. She has now made significant contributions to an impressive array of projects, most notably as Creative Director on popular music artist DDG’s Storyteller music video that has accumulated 3.2 million views on Youtube. Along with being a Creative Director for Whiipped, a Queer erotic theatrical experience that has now sold out to largely black and brown queer communities in major U.S. cities. Tierra’s short film Potion 999(2022) was recently selected and well received at the 19th annual International Queer Women of Color Film Festival. 


Tierra's commitment to storytelling through an intersectional lens along with her unwavering dedication and community based mission has solidified her as a multifaceted and visionary filmmaker. Tierra Frost hopes to continue to redefine the artistic landscape with compelling narratives and an innovative approach, establishing herself as an evolutionary artist.
